Field Visit to Sign a Scientific Cooperation Memorandum with the University of Milan

As part of a strategic vision led by Mr. Karrar Nadhim Al-Dubai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi University of Sciences, to enhance international academic presence and engage with prestigious global universities, a date has been set to sign a scientific and academic cooperation memorandum between the Iraqi University of Sciences and the University of Milan, Italy. This initiative aims to contribute to the development of higher education and scientific research while fostering the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.
The memorandum of cooperation aims to open broad horizons for joint action, which include:
Exchanging faculty members and students.
Implementing joint research programs.
Organizing scientific conferences and workshops.
Exchanging curricula and academic expertise to enhance educational quality and elevate the scientific and institutional standing of both parties.
During the visit, both sides emphasized the importance of this step in supporting effective international partnerships, noting that cooperation with Italian universities represents a qualitative addition to the journey of higher education and keeps pace with global scientific developments.
The draft memorandum will be signed by the delegation of the Iraqi University of Sciences, represented by Mr. Karrar Nadhim Al-Dubai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Abbas Fadhil Al-Sudani, Secretary of the University Council. This comes within the university’s strategy aimed at expanding its international network and building sustainable partnerships with prestigious academic institutions.
